_No-Guilt Meals
By Rachel Lochen
Dieting doesn’t work for the majority of people. Most of us don’t like to count calories, weigh out portions or do without certain foods. Here are some suggestions you can do to enjoy your food without the guilt:
#1 Eat foods high in fiber, low in fat, and low in sugar.
#2 Control portions. Compared with people in other countries, Americans put too much on their plates. Convince yourself that you really don’t need seconds.
#3 Eat slowly. If you eat slower, you’ll eat less.
#4 Be patient. Good eating habits form over time. Be consistent.
#5 Eat only when you are hungry. Don’t eat because you are bored, stressed or you just have a food craving. Find substitutes that are healthy and can supply a feeling of comfort such as walking or calling a friend. It will give you that good feeling without the calories.
Good luck on your way to eating without the guilt!
